Tour Summary/ Features:
This tour combines Kenya’s twin attractions- the safari and
beach experience. You begin your safari experience at Tsavo
West, home to elephants, crocodiles, vervet monkeys, antelope,
baboons, giraffes, hippos and lions. The park is a marvel in
terms of geo-physical character and plant diversity. You end up
at Mombasa enjoying activities at the beach and the leisurely
pace of life at the Kenyan coast. The city is a cosmopolitan
metropolis reflecting the influence of Africans, Persians,
Arabs, Turks, Indians, Portuguese and the British.

Itinerary:
Day 1: MOMBASA - TSAVO WEST
0800 hrs - depart Mombasa for Tsavo West National Park to arrive
in time for lunch at Kilanguni Serena Lodge. At 1530 hrs, you
proceed for an afternoon game drive within the park until dusk.
At Tsavo West you will see elephants, crocodiles, vervet
monkeys, antelope, baboons, giraffes, hippos and lions. The park
is a marvel in terms of geo-physical character and plant
diversity. Mzima Springs, the source of Mombasa’s water, is
located here. These springs are recharged daily with hundreds of
millions of litres of crystal clear water by underground streams
emanating from Chyulu Hills. At Mzima, all sorts of animals
gather for a drink particularly in the dry season. You may also
be able to view hippo and crocodiles from the underwater glass
tank.

Day 2: TSAVO WEST
0600 hrs – you take an early morning game drive followed by
breakfast. After lunch at the lodge you will have early
afternoon at leisure. 1600 hrs - Afternoon game drive till dusk.

Day 3: TSAVO WEST – MOMBASA
0800 hrs- check out and commence drive to Mombasa with game
drive en route. You arrive in Mombasa in time for lunch at
Voyager Beach Resort. You will spend the afternoon at leisure at
the beach.

Day 4, 5, 6 & 7: MOMBASA
Spend the days enjoying activities at the beach and leisurely
pace of life at the Kenyan coast.
The Voyager Beach Resort is one of Kenya’s leading resorts. It
overlooks the white sands of Nyali beach, just 7km north of
Mombasa Town and 30 km away from the International Airport. The
area is renowned for its bustling shopping centers and a lively
nightlife with casinos and cabaret shows. The resorts’
convenient location gives guests easy access to a huge variety
of historical, sporting and cultural attractions, including
Africa’s largest crocodile farm and the world-famous Bamburi
Nature Trail.
The resort offers 233 spacious ‘cabins’ – 83 with beautiful sea
views, the remainder overlooking the resort’s lush tropical
gardens. Eight cabins are interconnected for families, and the
resort also offers three large junior suites. All cabins have a
private balcony and are equipped with their own telephone,
air-conditioning unit and electronic safe. The resort offers
three classic restaurants, a coffee shop and three bars,
including one open 24 hours. Sports pool and beachfront relax
pool. Fun pool, with jacuzzi, waterfall and kids’ pool. Other
facilities are: shopping arcade, salon with parisian
hairdressers, modern health centre with techno gym equipment.
Games area, with table tennis, pool and darts and sand
volleyball court with daily competitions.

Day 8: MOMBASA – DEPARTURE
After breakfast (depending on timing of your flight to Nairobi)
you will be transferred to Mombasa Airport for flight back to
Nairobi.
