Summary:
This 3 day 2
nights tour offers you a chance to enjoy an under-canvas
experience in Kenya’s largest National park. You will stay in
tented camps both in the Tsavo East and Tsavo West. You are
likely to see herds of elephants, Zebras, Giraffes, Ostrich,
Impalas and many gazelles.
The tour begins
in Mombasa and end in Mombasa
Itinerary
DAY 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East
After your breakfast at the hotel you are picked up by African
guide. You begin the about 100km – drive along the Tarmac road
in the direction of Nairobi. You will enter the famous Tsavo
National Park through the Bachuma gate.
Tsavo is well
known for its population of Red Elephants, Buffaloes, Zebras,
Giraffes, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Ostrich, Impalas and many types
of Gazelles. Occasionally Lions and Cheetahs may be seen.
Aquatic birds will be seen at Aruba. A wide variety of animals
are usually in the Vicinity of the Dam offering a good
opportunity for Photographs.
Lunch at
Ndololo Camp. Further game drives after lunch. Dinner and
overnight at Ndololo Camp or similar.
DAY 2: Tsavo East to Tsavo West
Early morning
game drives before breakfast at the camp. After breakfast
proceed to Tsavo West National Park. Lunch at Tsavo Park Hotel
just outside Tsavo East National Park enroute to Tsavo West
National Park, arriving for Check-in and over night at Lion Rock
Safari Camp. Dinner and overnight at the Lion Rock Safari Camp
or similar.
DAY 3: Return
to Mombasa
Early morning
game drives before breakfast. After breakfast game drive with a
visit to Mzima Springs where thousands gallons of water flow
every day from the nearby volcanic Chyulu Hills. Hippos, Fish
and Crocodiles could be seen from a sunken underwater
observatory Tank. Elephant, Zebras, Lions and other game could
be seen.
You will have
your lunch at a picnic site. You then begin your return trip to
arrive Mombasa or Malindi in the early evening.
