The highlight of any visit to Uganda is to take a gorilla safari, either in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest or the Mgahinga Volcanoes; both of which are in the south western corner of the country. This involves walking up to four hours through tropical rainforest for an unforgettable encounter with these huge primates. The forest also has many other primates and phenomenal numbers of birds.

The southern circuit safari is no less spectacular than any other safari in Tanzania. Among the southern parks is the Selous Game Reserve, Africa's largest unexploited game reserve. In addition, Ruaha National Park is the largest Elephant sanctuary in Tanzania. If you are interested in seeing wildlife off the beaten path, the Southern Circuit Safari is for you. The southern parks' unspoilt loveliness is due in part to their relative inaccessibility.

A four-wheel drive vehicle is the best way to get around the region. Some of the activities guests can enjoy is a hike to the Sanje waterfalls or a climb to the top of the Luhombereo, Udzungwa highest peak. Your safari will end at Dar es Salaam.
