Mauritius Beach & Nature - Le
Preskil exclusive with Andrea & L'Exil Nature Lodges
A new concept to Mauritius Le Preskil Hotel has opened two Nature
Lodges. This is a lovely concept allowing clients to see the wild
South of Mauritius, transferred organised by the hotel or spend the
rest at the Le Preskil Beach Resort. Some of the things to do are
hiking wit a guide through Combo Natural Park, swimming in the
waterfalls at L’Exil, mountain bike tour in Andrea, two hour jeep
ride with a guide around the lodges, visit of the sugar mill
(seasonal), visit of tropical flower plantation in Andrea, horse
riding (with supplement).
L’Exil Lodge:
Set in the hills overlooking the Rivière Savanne, Exil Lodge is
built in the beautiful natural park of Combo. The lodge is very
natural and rustic in it’s décor and surrounded by the songs of lush
forest, waterfalls and birdsong. There are 10 units (32m?) all with
ensuite bathroom, shower, sea view and private gardens. All rooms
are equipped with fans, mosquito nets and tea/coffee facilities.
Accommodation is offered on a full board basis including breakfast
and a 2-course menu for lunch and a 3-course menu for dinners. Lunch
can be substituted with a picnic basket for those going on
excursions and the basket will be brought to you.
Andréa Lodge:
Situated on the south coast of the island, overlooking the Indian
Ocean, Andréa Lodge is nestled among the luxurious vegetation. The
landscape follows the path of the Rivière des Anguilles down to
black cliffs and breaking waves. The sea breeze invigorates the mind
and soul. 10 colonial style units with a large veranda opening on a
private garden. All rooms are equipped with bathroom, shower, fans,
mosquito nets and tea/coffee facilities. Accommodation is offered on
full board basis including breakfast and a 2-course menu for lunch
and a 3-course menu for dinners. Lunch can be substituted with a
picnic basket for those going on excursions and the basket will be
brought to you.
Dress code: Pants, shirts or T-shirts with long sleeves, walking
shoes and anti-mosquito cream.
Itinerary
DAY 1: Depart from Johannesburg International Airport for
your flight to Mauritius. On arrival at the airport, our agents will
meet you and arrange the transfer to the Le Preskil Hotel where you
will be staying for 2 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis
DAY 3: Transfer by the hotel to Andrea Nature Lodge (full
board)
DAY 4: Transfer by the hotel to L’Exile Nature Lodge (full
board)
DAY 5: Transfer back to Le Preskil Hotel where you will be
staying another 3 nights on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis
DAY 8: Transfer to the airport and check in for your return
flight to Johannesburg.
