Day 1:
Morning aqival
in South Africa, your guide will meet you at
Johannesburg International Airport (nA). Depart
to Pretoria for. a city tour that includes the
Voortrekker Monument, Paul Kruger House, Church
Square and Union Buildings. Lunch in Pretoria.
The rest of the afternoon at leisure, dinner at
the
Carnivore
restaurant. Overnight near Johannesburg. .

Day 2:
Travel via
Middleburg, Lydenburg and Sabie (Long Tom
Pass)-to Hazyview situated in the province of
Mpumalanga. Visit the old gold rush town of
Pilgrim's Rest a museum in its entirety.

Day 3:
Travel the
Panorama Route of the majestic Drakensberg
Mountains, admire the natural beauty of the
Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window and the
Blyde River Canyon, which is the third deepest
canyon in the world, lunch along the way. Enjoy
some African culture with singing, dancing and
dinner at Shangana, a traditional Shangaan
village, meet the chief with his 3 wives and 36
children. Overnight in Razyview.

Day 4:
Depart for the
world-renowned Kruger National Park (KNP), visit
Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Center and
Kapama Cheetah Breeding & Research Center. Enter
the KNP through Orpen Gate, enjoy the rest of
the day in the KNP. Overnight in the KNP.

Day 5:
Enjoy a full
day in the KNP in search of the "Big 5" and a
host of other animals. Travel to the southern part of the
KNP. Overnight in the KNP. .

After a
leisurely breakfast we depart for the mountain
kingdom of Swaziland Lunch at Matsumo a Swazi
cultural village at the border. Overnight in

Depart from
Swaziland, lunch in St Lucia. Take a cruise on
the St Lucia estuary, a lake riddled with
crocodiles and hippos in the Greater St Lucia
Wetlands. Travel to the Hluhluwe / Umfolozi Game
Reserve, in by-gone years this reserve was the
hunting grounds of Zulu Kings. Dinner at the
camp restaurant. Overnight in this park

Day 8:
Spend the
morning in search of the "Big Five" and a host
of other animals, Hluhluwe l Umfolozi Game
Reserve is also renowned for its white & black
rhino conservation efforts. Travel to
Sh31rn13nd, here you can enjoy dinner and Zulu
hospitality at its best with a traditional Zulu
festival. Overnight in Zululand

A day of
history and battlefields, visit places that

Travel to the
Royal Natal National Park via Durban and the
historical city of Pietermaritzburg, stop for
lunch at Howick Waterfalls. Overnight in the
northern Natal Drakensberg Mountains.

A day at
leisure in the beautiful Natal Drakensberg
Mountains where the Tugela Falls (second highest
waterfall in the world) plummets in a series of
sheer falls and cascades and where Bushman left
their life stories in the form of paintings and
drawings on the rocks and in the caves.

Dav 13:
Travel the
Oliviershoek Pass to the village of Clarens and
the Golden Gate Highlands National Park. Spend
the afternoon relaxing at the hotel or take a
walk along one of the numerous nature trails in
the
park. Horse

Day 14:
Spend the day
traveling through the picturesque Eastern Free
State visiting small towns such as Ficksburg,
Ladybrand and Zastron. Lunch along the way.

Travel to the
historical town of Graaff-Reinet known as the
"Gem of the Karoo", lunch in town, then check
'into the hotel. Spend the afternoon in the
Karoo National Reserve, visit the Valley of

leisurely breakfast we depart for Oudtshoorn in
the Klein Karoo (semi desert area). Afternoon at

Visit Cango
Wildlife Ranch, Safari Ostrich Farm and the

Day 18:
Travel via
Outeniqua Pass to George a 60km drive that
reflects the great diversities of nature South
Africa has to offer. Travel along the Garden
Route to Knysna. Visit the "Big Tree", Bloukrans
and the Storms 'river suspension bridge in the;:
Tsitsikarnma National Park. Overnight in Knysna.

Day 19:
Morning at
leisure in Knysna. Take the ferry across the
lagoon in Knysna to the Featherbed Nature
Reserve for lunch, a 4 x 4 trailer-ride tour and
a hike to the western head of the estuary.

Day 20:
Travel to Cape
Town via Riversdale and Swellendam, lunch along
the way. Optional and weather permitting - we
take the cableway up Table Mountain. Dinner at

Day 21:
Take a scenic
drive around the Cape of Good Hope, which was
proclaimed by Sir Francis Drake as the "Fairest
Cape in the whole circumference of the earth".
Visit Hout Bay and the Cape Fur Seal colony on
Duiker Island, Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve,
Cape Point, Boulders - Penguins and Kirstenbosch
National Botanical Gardens, lunch on route.
Evening at leisure. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 22:
Wine tasting
and cellar tour at one of the wine estates along
the Cape's world-renowned Stellenbosch Wine
Route, also visit the quaint historical towns of
Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Enjoy sundowners
on Signal Hill before dinner and an evening of
live music at Marco's African Place. Overnight
in Cape Town.

Morning at
leisure or an optional visit to Robben Island
Lunch at the V & A Waterfront. City tour of
South Africa's beautiful Mother City, this tour
includes the Castle of Good Hope, Parade Ground,
City Hall, Houses of Parliament, Tuinhuis and
the Dutch East India Company Gardens, these
gardens became known to early travelers as "the
noblest and most beautiful curiosity in Africa"
