Day 1:
Morning
arrival in South Africa, your guide will meet
you upon arrival at Johannesburg International
Airport (TIA). Depart to Pretoria for a city
tour that includes the Voortrekker Monument,
Paul Kroger House, Church Square and Union
Buildings. Lunch in Pretoria. Overnight near
Muldersdrift just outside Pretoria, dinner at
the Carnivore restaurant.

Day 2:
Depart to
Mkuze via Ermelo and Piet Retief, lunch along
the way. Overnight on a private game reserve in
Maputoland.

Day 3:
Take a cruise
on the St Lucia estuary, a lake riddled with
crocodiles and hippos in the Greater St Lucia
Wetlands. Travel to the Hluhluwe I Umfolozi Game
Reserve, in by-gone years this reserve was the
hunting grounds of Zulu Kings. Spend the rest of
day in search of the "Big Five" and a host of
other animals. Dinner at the camp's restaurant.

Day 4:
Spend the
morning in the Hluhluwe I Umfolozi Game Reserve,
which is renowned for its white & bI.ack rhino
conservation efforts. Overnight in Zululand.
Enjoy Zulu hospitality at its best with a
traditional Zulu festival at Shakaland, dinner
at the hotel.

Day 5:
Early
departure for a day of history and battlefields,
visit places that still exude an ambience of a
once mighty Zulu nation. such as the "Battle of
Blood River", the Anglo-Zulu war battlefields of
Isandlwan and Rorke's Drift. Overnight in
Umhlanga. Evening at leisure.

Day at leisure
in Umhlanga with its golden beaches washed by
the warm Indian Ocean in a subtropical
settmg.. Dinner at The Famous Fish Company
restaurant on the "Poine' at Durban harbour.

Travel
to the
Royal Natal National Park via the historical
city of Pietermaritzburg, stop for lunch at
Howick Waterfalls. overnight in the northern Natal
Drakensberg Mountains.

A day at
leisure in the beautiful Natal Drakensburg Mountains
where the Tugela Falls (second highest Waterfall
in the world I plummets in a series of sheer falls
and cascades, and where Bushman left their life
stories in the form of paintings and drawings on the
rocks and in the caves

Day 9:
Travel the
Oliviershoek Pass to the village of Clarens and
the Golden Gate Highlands National Park. Spend
the afternoon relaxing at the hotel or take a
walk along one of the munerous nature trails in
the park. Horse riding and game drives also

Back to
Johannesburg the conunercial hub of South
Africa. Township tour of Soweto. Time for last
minute shopping before your departure.

Take a scenic
drive around the Cape of Good Hope. Visit Hout
Bay and the Cape Fur Seal colony on
Duiker Island,
Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Cape Point,
Boulders - Penguins and Kirstenbosch National
Botanical Gardens. Lunch along the way. Optional
and weather permitting - we take the cableway up
Table Mountain. Evening at leisure. Overnight in
Cape Town.

Wine tasting
and cellar tour at one of the wine estates along
the Cape's world-renowned Stellenbosch Wine
Route, also spend some time in the picturesque

leisure or you could visit Robben Island, the
place where Mr. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned
