Magamba Nature Forest Reserve is a true sanctuary for nature and culture. Located in Lushoto District, in the northeast of Tanzania, this protected forest spreads across 9,283 hectares and rises to altitudes over 2,100 meters above sea level. From Dar es Salaam: 339 km (6–7 hrs by road)

Closest Town: Lushoto, only 9 km from the reserve

Daily buses run from both Arusha and Dar es Salaam to Lushoto. From Lushoto, MNFR is easily accessible by private car or motorbike.
