DAY 1: Zanzibar – Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Flight: Zanzibar – Arusha (11:30 AM - 12:30 PM)
Depart from your Zanzibar accommodations in the morning, with a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scenic flight to Arusha.

Upon arrival in Arusha, meet your Wonders of Creation Tours and Safaris driver who will take you straight to Tarangire National Park. Often described as Tanzania’s hidden gem, Tarangire is home to the country’s largest elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and a variety of wildlife including lions, buffalo, baboons, giraffes, zebras, and impala.

After a picnic lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive to explore the park’s unique terrain and wildlife. The sight of Tarangire’s iconic baobabs, along with the movement of large herds, makes for an unforgettable afternoon.

DAY 2: Tarangire – Arusha – Zanzibar

Morning Game Drive & Bird-Watching
Start your day with an early breakfast followed by a morning game drive. Known for its outstanding birdlife, Tarangire boasts over 550 bird species ranging from the magnificent Kori bustard and ostrich to small, colorful weavers and finches. Predators like lions and leopards are also present, and lucky visitors may witness these hunters in action as they stalk their prey near the Tarangire River.

After a relaxed lunch, you’ll drive back to Arusha in time for your afternoon flight.
