Itinerary
Day 1 — Zanzibar to Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater
You leave Zanzibar on an early morning flight to Arusha, where you’re met and welcomed at the airport and driven to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive on the crater floor that lasts until late afternoon, with lunch during the drive. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with a floor of around 260 sq km, home to large herds of zebra and wildebeest and many predators. In the late afternoon you climb back up to the crater rim and drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 — Full Day in Serengeti National Park
You drive from your lodge to Serengeti National Park for a full day of game drives in the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world. Depending on the time of year and the movement of the migrating herds, you may see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, antelopes and many birds and other species. In the evening you drive to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 — Serengeti National Park to Zanzibar
You start with an early morning game drive to see predators returning from the night’s hunt and animals waking up in the early morning light. After a bush breakfast you’re taken to Seronera airstrip in the Serengeti for your flight back to Zanzibar, scheduled from 11:00 to 14:20. This is the end of our services.
