Itinerary
Day 1 — Maun Airport to Nxaragha Island
You are picked up at Maun Airport and flown by private light aircraft to Camp Okavango on Nxaragha Island in the Okavango Delta. You settle into your chalet and rest before high tea on the deck, followed by a three-hour afternoon activity. You then enjoy a three-course dinner at the outdoor firepit, with sundowner drinks and complimentary local wines, beers and soft drinks.
Day 2 — Nxaragha Island
Each day starts with an early wake-up call, as the best game viewing is at sunrise when animals become active. You have a light continental breakfast in the dining area, then set off on a three-hour morning safari. You return to Camp Okavango for brunch, and you can relax in your chalet or on the main deck by the pool. High tea is served on the deck before the three-hour afternoon activity, which is either a bush walk or a mokoro (dugout canoe) safari. You return to camp for a three-course dinner under the stars at the firepit, weather permitting, with local wines, beers and soft drinks.
Day 3 — Nxaragha Island

In general, the Okavango Delta’s floodwaters usually reach the delta from about May to August, when water levels are highest and the mokoro trips are at their best. The drier months from June to October are generally the best for game viewing, because animals gather around the remaining water.
