5 Day: Tanzania Cultural Tour and Wildlife Safari

Take a cultural tour and wildlife safari with this five day safari tour through some of Tanzania's most iconic national parks. You'll not only get to chase the Big Five across three of Tanzania's famed northern circuit parks, but you'll also get to interact with the Maasai and Hadzabe people as you learn more about Tanzania's rich cultural heritage.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park - Karatu
0800 Hrs. After your breakfast; depart from your Hotel in Arusha to Tarangire National Park for game drive.1300 Hrs.  Stop at the Picnic Site for Picnic Lunch, 1400 Hrs. Continue for evening game drive to return in the evening for dinner and overnight Lodge

Day 2:  Karatu - Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast pick up from your lodge in in Karatu drive to Ngorongoro crater, descend intoThe crater floor with your lunch box for game viewing, the famous Ngorongoro Crate is rich Of wildlife, each species have their own territories 1300 Hrs, Stop at the Picnic Site for Picnic Lunch, which will be served on the crater floor at the picnic site near Lerai forest or Hippo pool, 1400 Hrs. Ascend the crater drive and drive to Serengeti National park for your Dinner and overnight

Day 3:  Full Day Serengeti National Park
after Breakfast from your Camp, departure for the full day game drive in the park.

1300 Hrs. Break for lunch which will be served at the picnic area.1400 Hrs. Afternoon game drive in the Park later evening drive back to the Camp for dinner and Overnight at.

Day 4:  Serengeti National Park - Karatu
Wake up at 0600hrs for early morning game drives in Serengeti at 0845hrs back to the Camp. Pack your things then check out and drive with your packed lunch to Karatu while Enjoy en-route game on your way Pay a visit to one of the famous Maasai bomas, where you'll have the opportunity to witness (and participate in) traditional Maasai dance, tour an authentic Maasai village, and even do a little souvenir shopping at the local market.

Day 5: Lake Eyasi (cultural and Walking Safari) - Arusha
Wake up early for your breakfast from your Lodge then drive to Lake Eyasi for Cultural Tour and Walking Safari. In the company of the bushmen, you will hunt on foot using traditional weapons i.e. bows and arrows.

The Bushmen are related to the Kalahari Bushmen of South Africa. They speak the same click language but do not understand each other, as they have been apart for very long. The Bushmen live a medieval kind of life style. They do not build permanent homes but follow the animals in the area as they trap and kill them for food. They are hunters and gatherers. After a brief hunting stint with the Bushmen, late afternoon drive back to Arusha and drop off to your Hotel for your onwards arrangement. (Accommodation and Airport transfer will be on your account, but we can arrange them on request)
