The park’s landscapes range from mountains and river forest to plains, lakes and wooded grassland, and it is home to elephants, crocodiles, vervet monkeys, antelope, baboons, giraffes, hippos and lions. Itinerary
Day 1 — Mombasa to Tsavo West National Park
At 8:30 am you depart Mombasa for Tsavo West National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Kilanguni Serena Lodge. At 3:30 pm you set out on an afternoon game drive, which runs until dusk. You have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2 — Full Day in Tsavo West National Park
You start at 6:00 am with an early morning game drive, followed by breakfast. After lunch at the lodge you have the early afternoon at leisure. At 4:00 pm you take an afternoon game drive until dusk, then have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 3 — Tsavo West National Park to Mombasa
After checking out at 8:00 am, you drive to Mombasa with a game drive en route. You arrive in time for lunch at Voyager Beach Resort. The afternoon is free for the beach, and you have dinner and an overnight stay at the resort.
Days 4 and 5 — Mombasa Beach Days
You spend these two days enjoying the beach and the leisurely pace of life on the Kenyan coast. Voyager Beach Resort overlooks the white sands of Nyali beach, around 7 km north of Mombasa Town. Its cabins have sea views or garden views, and the resort offers three classic restaurants, a coffee shop, bars, sports and beachfront pools, a gym, a games area and sand volleyball. Nearby attractions include the Bamburi Nature Trail and a crocodile farm, which you can visit at extra cost. Your meals are included under the all-inclusive plan.
Day 6 — Departure from Mombasa to Nairobi
After breakfast, you are transferred to Moi International Airport in Mombasa for your scheduled flight to Nairobi.

Best Time to Go
This holiday can be taken all year round. Tsavo West is generally easiest for game viewing in the dry months from June to October and from about January to March, when animals gather around water and the bush is thinner. Mombasa is hot and humid all year, with the long rains from roughly April to May and the short rains in November and December bringing heavier showers.
