6 Days – Mukuru Village – Lake Natron – Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater

The tour will take you to visit and explore Mukuru for Cultural tour and  Northern parks for Wildlife safari,  you will spend 2Days at Mukuru Eco tented Camps, 1Day Lake Natron, 2Days Serengeti National Park, and finish with  1Day to Ngorongoro Crater. All the parks are home to small and large animals including birds and reptiles. You will enjoy and experience nature, wildlife, habit and habitat of the fauna and flora in the natural areas, also peoples and culture.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Airport – Mukuru Eco Tented Camps 

Pick from Airport or Arusha town transfer to Mukuru Eco Tented Camps this takes about 1:30hrs to 2hrs to arrive at our Camp. When arrive at our Camp warm welcomes awaits you at the Camp. After a Camp tour and a little refreshment, you can settle into your room. After a short break enjoy a bush experience with a guided walk, learning about the local flora and fauna this take about 2 to 3hrs. After this experience you will have short break waiting for your dinner, after dinner you will gather around a campfire for storytelling and stargazing. 

Maasai Goat BBQ – For Extra Cost

Enjoy some traditionally roasted goat meat around the campfire and learn which part is eaten (or not eaten!) by whom in Maasai society. You can combine the BBQ very well with a Maasai Story Telling.

Day 2: Mukuru Eco Tented Camps

Optional, you may wake up early in the morning at 06:00hrs for Sunrise, at 08:30hrs you will have breakfast, after breakfast  the guide will pick visit a family of our Mkuru community in their Boma (household) and get authentic insight to Maasai life off the touristic paths. Join in everyday tasks of the women, have a chat with the elder or play with the kids. We rotate the families our guests visit. At around 13:00hrs you will break for Lunch. After lunch rest and relax at our Camp. Around 03:00hrs the guide will pick you walk to the bush where you will learn to play some traditional Maasai group games and test your reflexes! Most fun if you come with a group as well 

Maasai Dance – For Extra Cost

Maasai dance is of traditional importance. It is probably the only dance style in Tanzania whereby dancers move vertically as opposed to the conventional horizontal, sideways or spinning dancing movements. Also unlike for many traditional African dances, drums are not associated with Maasai dances. The dances are performed during celebrations and during rituals

Day 3: Mukuru – Lake Natron

After early breakfast pick up from the Mukuru eco tented camps with your packed lunch drive to Lake Natron from where you shall embark on guided walk to visit the Natron and explore the ecological diversity and magnificient breeding sites of Flamingoes. You will see a veriety of Pink Flamingoes here. During your walk, you shall also get to cross a forest where you shall get to see a number of giraffes. You shall get to enjoy wonderful sunsets at the end of the day, as you return you shall then head to your Camp of stay for your dinner and overnight

Day 4: Lake Natron – Serengeti National Park

After early breakfast at your Camp drive to Serengeti National Park to explore the vast savannah plain in search of more wildlife species such as the big five like Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Buffalos and Leopards. You will have break time for your lunch in a picnic site, later continue with game drive search of wildlife species like Zebras, Hippos, Giraffes, Antelopes and many others. You will have dinner and overnight at

Day 5: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Wake up at 0600hrs for early morning game drives in Serengeti at 0845hrs back to the Camp. Then check out and drive with packed lunch and game en-route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. It is your option whether you will pass via Maasai Boma/Olduvai Gorge the archaeological site. Dinner and overnight at

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

After breakfast, drive from your Camp/Hostel to Ngorongoro Crater; descend into the crater floor with your lunch box for game viewing. The famous Ngorongoro Crate is rich of wildlife, each species have their own territories. Your packed lunch will be served on the crater floor at the picnic site near Lerai forest or hippo pool. Late afternoon ascend the crater drive back to Arusha. (Accommodation and Airport transfer will be on your account, but we can arrange them on request)
