You are met at Zanzibar Airport and transferred to Kisiwa on the Beach, a boutique beach hotel on the east coast of Zanzibar. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and enjoy the white sand and turquoise water together.
After an early breakfast you are picked up at 7:30 am and driven to Fumba village, where you meet your boat and guide for a full-day sea excursion. The tour visits three sandbanks, with a seafood lunch on one of them, followed by snorkelling, with a chance of seeing dolphins. You return to Fumba at about 5:30 pm and reach your hotel around 6:30 pm.
After breakfast you are picked up at 7:00 am and driven to Kizimkazi, a fishing village on the south coast, where wild dolphins live in the bay. A local boat takes you out to look for them and to snorkel over the reef; responsible operators keep a respectful distance from the dolphins. After lunch at a local restaurant, you visit Jozani Forest, Zanzibar’s only national park, to walk among the mangroves and see the rare red colobus monkeys found only on the island. You then return to your hotel.
After a relaxed breakfast you are picked up at 10:30 am and driven to Nungwi on the northern tip of the island, famous for its beaches and sunsets. You check into Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort and spend the afternoon by the sea.
After breakfast you are picked up at 9:30 am for a full-day tour. At a spice farm you see cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and other spices growing, taste seasonal fruits and get a glimpse of village life, followed by lunch at the farm. In the afternoon you explore Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visiting the former slave market, the daily market, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, the Palace Museum and the narrow streets, with time for shopping. You then return to Nungwi.
You have a full day to relax on the beach, swim in the warm, clear water or simply enjoy time together, ending with the famous Nungwi sunset. An optional sunset dhow cruise is a romantic way to end your holiday.
After breakfast you have time to relax until your transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight home.
