Day 1: Arrival Maun, Botswana – Air transfer to Okavango

The Okavango supports an amazing abundance of wildlife including lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, giraffe, hyena, wild dog, kudu, impala, roan, zebra, lechwe, hippo and crocodile to name a few. The waters of the Okavango support 80 species of fish including bream and the beautiful tiger fish.

Day 2: Safari activities in Okavango
Full day safari activities in this part of the delta,The great miracle of Okavango is that its floodwater arrives across the delta at the start of the dry season, in May, June and July. The primary reason for this delayed arrival is that the Okavango River rises so far away, in the highlands of Angola some 500km to the northwest and it takes months for the water to flow slowly downstream and filter out across the delta.

Activities here center on the game drives as well as walks in some of the Okavango’s most scenic and private areas. Dinner and overnight at

Day 3: Flight from Okavango to Kwara
Today you are flown from the first camp, to a contrasting sector of the Okavango to enjoy the activities on offer there. You shift to the northern part of the delta.  Activities include Mokoro-ing, boating, fishing, walks – and at some camps, game drives are on offer.  Dinner and overnight at

Elephant, hippo and crocodile occur in abundance in the delta’s reed-lined waterways.

Learn more about this unique ecosystem and the creatures that dwell within while in the company of the lodge’s skilled trackers and rangers. Dinner and overnight at.

Day 5: Fly to Chobe/Linyanti
From the Okavango, guests are flown northeast to the Chobe / Linyanti waterways. This is a completely contrasting region to the Okavango Delta.

The Chobe River flows along the north-eastern border of the park and is a favorite watering ‘hole’ for large herds of elephant, buffalo and other mammal species during the dry season. The area is characterized by lush plains and dense teak forest.

Elephant are often spotted swimming from island to island in search of good grazing. Activities are enjoyed around the Savuti Channel or Linyanti River on boats, vehicles or from hides. Dinner and overnight at.

Day 6: Safari activities
Safari activities in the area. The day is devoted to two game activities alternating between land- and water-based safaris. The presence of an experienced ranger and tracker will enable you to explore the wonders of this wilderness area and enable you to gain some insight into the habits and behavior of the animal species.

An afternoon sunset cruise on the Chobe River offers a unique vantage point from which to view the herds of antelope and elephant as they approach the water’s edge for a late afternoon drink, their senses always primed to detect predators that might be lurking in the vegetation along the riverbank.
