8 Days – Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari

The mass movement of the migrants starts at the beginning of the dry season from June and continues year after year searching for fresh, green pasture and water. The migration gets into Kenya at the Maasai Mara National Park and stays there for two months only i.e August and September, therefore the best time to visit Serengeti National Park is December to February and from May to July.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
0830 Hrs. After your breakfast; depart from Arusha to Tarangire National Park for game drive.
1300 Hrs.  Stop at the Picnic Site for Picnic Lunch, 
1400 Hrs. Continue for evening game drive to return in the evening for dinner and overnight at.

Day 2: Lake Manyara National Park
0830 Hrs. After your breakfast; depart from your Camp/Lodge to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive.
1300 Hrs.  Stop at the Picnic Site for Picnic Lunch, 
1400 Hrs. Continue for evening game d rive to return in the evening for dinner and overnight at.

Day 3: Manyara – North Serengeti
After breakfast at 0800 hrs drive from Manyara with your packed lunch and game enroute to the great Serengeti Plains via Ngorongoro Conservation Areea. You will have your lunch on the way to North Serengeti while you’re proceeding with your game drive around north Serengeti or trace the direction of the migration. Later evening drive the Camp/Lodge for your Dinner and Overnight at.

Day 4:  Northern Serengeti National Park (Tracing the direction of the Wildebeests)
0630 Hrs. Early morning game drives in the in the Park
0930 Hrs. Return to lodge for breakfast and relax at Leisure.
1300 Hrs. Lunch will be served at your Lodge.
1400 Hrs. Afternoon game drives in northern Serengeti Kogatende/Bologonj area following the great migration at Mara River.Dinner and overnight at.

Day 5: Full day in Northern Serengeti: Mara River area (Witnessing Wildebeest crossing River)
0630 Hrs. Early morning game drives in the in the Park
0930 Hrs. Return to lodge for breakfast and relax at Leisure.
1300 Hrs. Lunch will be served at your Lodge.
1400 Hrs. Afternoon game drives in northern Serengeti Kogatende/Bologonja area following the great migration at Mara River. Dinner and overnight at.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti National Park– Central Serengeti National Park
0630 Hrs. Early morning game drives in northern Serengeti area
0930 Hrs. Return to lodge for breakfast.
1030 Hrs. After your breakfast; depart with picnic lunch to central Serengeti
1300 Hrs. Break for lunch which will be served at the picnic area.
1400 Hrs. Afternoon game drive in central Serengeti – Seronera area.  Dinner and overnight at.

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim 
Wake up at 0600hrs for early morning game drives in Serengeti at 0845hrs back to the lodge. Then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en-route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. It is your option whether you will pass via Olduvai Gorge the archaeological site. Dinner and overnight at dinner and overnight at.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha: 
0730 Hrs.  After breakfast, drive and descend into the crater floor with your lunch box for game viewing. The famous Ngorongoro Crater is rich of wildlife, each species have their own territories.
1300 Hrs.  Stop at the Picnic Site for Picnic Lunch, which will be served on the crater floor at the picnic site near Lerai forest or hippo pool.
1400 Hrs.  Ascend the Crater and drive back to Arusha for your onwards arrangement. (Accommodation and Airport transfer will be on your account, but we can arrange
