This safari combines one of Africa’s great waterfalls with three contrasting areas of Botswana. You begin at Victoria Falls, which is 108 metres high and 1,708 metres wide, and which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1989. You then cross into Botswana, often considered Africa’s safari Eden, to Chobe National Park, which covers about 11,700 square kilometres, with its river on the north-eastern border and an estimated 50,000 elephants. From there you fly into the Okavango Delta, to the north-eastern delta at Kwara and then to Pom Pom Camp, which has a mix of dry land and wetland, mokoro trips, game drives and night drives. Most of the stay is fully inclusive.

Itinerary
Day 1 — Arrival at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
On arrival at Victoria Falls Airport you are met and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Victoria Falls town, within walking distance of the falls. Your time here is flexible, so you can explore the town at your own pace. You overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 — Victoria Falls Tours
In the morning you visit Victoria Falls with a guide. Later you can take part in one of the many activities available at extra cost, including a Zambezi sunset cruise, the helicopter “Flight of the Angels” over the falls, an elephant encounter, or adventure activities such as canoeing and white water rafting. You overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 — Road Transfer to Kasane, Flight to Kwando Lagoon
After breakfast you are transferred by road from Victoria Falls to Kasane, crossing the border into Botswana, then take a light flight to Kwando Lagoon, where you spend two nights on a fully inclusive basis. All meals, a selection of drinks, park fees and activities are included. You have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 4 — Safari Game Drives and River Cruise
You take part in safari activities led by the lodge’s professional guides and shared with other guests. These include a Chobe River cruise and game drives in Chobe National Park and the Chobe Forest Reserve. You have dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 5 — Transfer to the Okavango Delta
You are transferred to Kasane Airport for a flight over Chobe National Park to the edge of the Okavango Delta. You land on the airstrip, where guides meet you, and you stay at Kwara for two nights on a fully inclusive basis. You have dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.
Day 6 — Safari Activities in the North-East Okavango
You enjoy a full day of safari activities in this part of the Okavango Delta. Kwara’s tented rooms are simple and comfortable, with en suite bathrooms, and some have pretty views over the lagoon. Kwara offers one of the finest safari experiences in Botswana. You have dinner and an overnight stay at Kwara.
Day 7 — Flight to Pom Pom Camp, Okavango Delta
You transfer by light aircraft across the Okavango Delta, where a representative from Pom Pom Camp meets you for two nights on a fully inclusive basis. Pom Pom is in a very scenic part of the delta, with a mix of dry land and wetland, so it can run mokoro trips as well as game drives all year round. As it is on a private concession, it can go off-road and also offers night drives. You have dinner and an overnight stay at Pom Pom Camp.
Day 8 — Safaris in the Central Okavango
You take part in safari activities, including game drives in open-sided vehicles and a mokoro ride. At certain times of the year this area can receive a lot of water, which limits the game-drive areas available. Even so, guests are rarely disappointed and often report great animal sightings. The Pom Pom concession is especially good for leopard sightings. You have dinner and an overnight stay at Pom Pom Camp.
Day 9 — Safari Ends at Maun Airport
After breakfast and a morning activity, depending on your flight time, you fly to Maun for your onward arrangements.

Best Time to Go
This safari can be taken all year round. In general, the Okavango’s floodwaters arrive across the delta from about May to July, which suits mokoro trips, though at certain times of the year the central area receives a lot of water. The Chobe River is a major watering spot from about May to October, when animals gather at the river. The Victoria Falls water flow is highest from about March to May. The dry months from June to October are generally the best for game viewing across the region, and the wetter months from November to March bring green landscapes and birdlife, though afternoon storms are common.
