Overnight: Figi Tree Lodge
Morning pick-up from Arusha followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its giant baobab trees, prolific birdlife, and some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. Enjoy a full game drive spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and more.
Later, continue to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight at Figi Tree Lodge.
Overnight: Elwai Camp (Serengeti)
After breakfast, travel via Karatu into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying sweeping highland views before descending toward the Serengeti. Enter the park in the afternoon and enjoy your first Serengeti game drive en route to Elwai Camp, where you’ll spend the night immersed in the wilderness.
Overnight: Elwai Camp
Spend the entire day exploring the vast Serengeti plains—home to lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hyenas, and (seasonally) the Great Wildebeest Migration. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives before returning to camp for a relaxed evening by the campfire.
After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Eighth Wonder of the World. Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive with excellent chances to spot black rhinos, lions, hippos, elephants, and abundant plains game.
In the afternoon, drive back to Arusha, concluding your unforgettable 4-day Tanzania budget safari.
