"They provided a thoroughly enjoyable safari. Although I was nervous booking and transferring money overseas, to our pleasant surprise, everything went according to plan, including the arrangement of pre- and post-safari accommodation at the Impala Hotel in Arusha. We had a comfortable vehicle, and our tent was great – a very good size and kept us dry through storms, night after night. Apollo was our guide/driver and was extremely knowledgeable and proficient. He had to do some very challenging four-wheel driving owing to a lot of rain and got us through every time without a hitch (others were not so lucky!). We saw so much wildlife right up close and personal, including the Big 5 – and he was so patient when we just wanted to spend ages watching nature at its best. Our cook, Bereggi (sorry, I have no idea how he spells it?), was excellent also, providing absolutely fabulous meals!! The two of them made a trip to remember! Overall, it was an excellent 8 days which allowed us to see the best of what Tanzania can offer on safari."

The safari was fantastic – the best holiday I’ve ever experienced. Our guide was informative and taught Swahili along the way. The food at camps was delicious. 

"It's nice to know someone is following up on how tourists are treated. First of all, we had a great time, and the tour provided was very good. Everything went off without any real problems. The guide was very good, and the porters were incredible. Overall, I would say I am very satisfied with the service provided. The one thing I would say I was unhappy with was that when it came to the last day of our trek and time to tip the porters, the number suddenly went from the 8 we had every night in our camp to 12! This left us with a bad aftertaste as we felt we were being tricked. I think to overcome this, the company organizing should tell you exactly how many porters/guides are accompanying the client and how much is expected at the end. I would recommend this operator to friends overall, though, and we found the girl we dealt mainly with, Neema, to be very helpful and friendly to deal with."Operator Response: "We are sorry for the confusion regarding the number of porters. The Machame route is usually climbed by 8 porters for two people, but the number can vary depending on the weight of the bags. In your case, there were 12 people climbing, including guides and cooks. We apologize for the mistake and will ensure this is clarified in the future."

"Our 4-day camping safari was excellent. Traveling to and from the reserve consumed two of the days, but the other two days were a marvel. Sleeping in a tent was balanced out with excellent meals cooked by Hamad. I appreciated the detail and care with which the operator arranged the safari."

"We have just returned from our trip, and we had a fantastic time. Our guide, Apollo, was very good – he took us straight to all the animals. Sometimes we couldn’t see them until he showed us. The lodges and tented lodges were very good, and we were surprised by how luxurious they were. The food was up to a very high standard, including the packed lunches. I would like to thank you for a perfect safari, and we will be using this operator again."

"Being with a smaller operator was great because we were in a vehicle by ourselves. Our guide, Antoine, and our cook, Abou, were excellent. Antoine was very knowledgeable and experienced about the different game parks we traveled to. Abou is an excellent cook and very personable. The food was tasty, healthy, and hearty – we were never hungry. The sales department was the low point. Our sales rep was not timely with all the information we needed to prepare for the trip. For instance, I didn’t know the safari started in Arusha until after several discussions about the itinerary. Had I known, I would have booked tickets to Kilimanjaro instead of Dar Es Salaam. "Our safari was great. The operator was very helpful during the planning process and accommodated our requests, such as changing the beginning city of the tour and adding side trips. Most importantly, the company provided us with a wonderful guide, Huruma, whose English was great, and whose knowledge of the area and animals was vast. He made the whole trip a fantastic experience. My cousin, who lives in Tanzania, was very impressed with Huruma. If I were going again, I would ask specifically for him. Many thanks to this safari operator. I would do it again with them in a heartbeat."
