The lodges and tented lodges were very good, and we were surprised by how luxurious they were. The food was up to a very high standard, including the packed lunches. "Our safari was, no doubt, a fantastic experience. Having the opportunity to watch wildlife up close was something I personally longed for, and I wasn’t disappointed. Our guide, Anicete, proved to be very knowledgeable and a nice guy who taught us a lot about nature. The camping safari gave us the chance to see some action at night too, like a couple of hyenas and jackals fighting for a carcass just five meters away from our tent. The cook, Reuben, was also great – he even cooked a Spanish tortilla for us after we gave him the recipe! My only advice to future travelers is to make sure they know exactly what they are buying from the operator. There were a few misunderstandings on our trip, but fortunately, they were friendly enough to solve it all very easily."

We felt very well taken care of the entire 10 days we were out on safari, and their careful planning was evident in how smoothly and effortlessly the safari unfolded. As for our guide, we feel incredibly fortunate to have had Huruma as our guide. He made sure that each day’s game drive was planned to give us the most time to see the animals and landscapes at their best. He also took time to discuss what options we had so that some spontaneity could be included if that was our preference. "I was impressed with the operator before I even left the country. Chislon, my coordinator, was able to accommodate me to make a unique itinerary. I am 18 and traveling alone, so it was really difficult to find safari coordinators willing to work with my budget, and most dismissed me. My guide and driver, Eddie, was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and hilarious! He kept me laughing the entire trip. Traveling alone, I was apprehensive about who my guide would be because I knew I’d be with that person for five days as my only company. With Freddie, my company couldn’t have been better."
