"Just a few thoughts about our recent safari tour. Despite the initial pricing problem, I must say that the whole tour was very enjoyable, although not cheap. Very good and professional was the tour planning and the perfect logistics with dedicated personal involvement of Mwanaid. The transit hotels in Nairobi and Arusha were good and met the expected standard. The 'Kigongori Mobile Camp' was good, and all of us enjoyed the stay. This was also due to the pleasant camp crew and their personal touch. This includes our driver, John, who proved to be very experienced in finding the animals. The category 'luxury camp' is probably a bit on the high side, but we enjoyed it very much. 'Katavi Palahala' camp was definitely more on the luxury side. Management and staff were pleasant, and together with the good driver, made our stay a success. In both camps, we had the privilege to be more or less the only guests, so all the attention was directed to us. Lupita Island Resort was a memory of colonial luxury days – beautiful, different, and enjoyable. The resort management was professional, and the accommodation was something to remember. I also like to mention the well-organized air services and their experienced pilots. The good variety of food and drinks in all camps was plenty and tasty. All in all, a safari tour to remember, especially all those people who made it a success. Our special thanks go to Mwanaid."

"Southern Circuit: This eleven-day tour was most successful. The program was altered to suit us, as arranged before booking. We traveled as a couple with a driver-guide and a guide who was also the cook. We appreciated the African dishes he made. The parks were amazing, and the animals were most interesting. The roads were very rough, but the driving was handled with great care. The camping was mixed, but all accommodations were adequate. One night spent on a campsite where we were the only occupants was particularly memorable."

Aniceth, the guide, had remarkable knowledge of the plants, animals, and local peoples and customs, and was very forthcoming in providing information to make our trip more interesting. He also gave us options to vary the safari itinerary as we went to improve our chances of seeing aspects of interest to us. Overall, an excellent safari, thanks to the guide and cook."

"Our 4-day camping safari was excellent. Traveling to and from the reserve consumed two of the days, but the other two days were a marvel. Sleeping in a tent was balanced out with excellent meals cooked by Hamad. I appreciated the detail and care with which the operator arranged the safari."

From meeting us at the airport to our departure a fortnight later, Penel, from the tour company, Anton, our safari guide, and Meckson, our Kilimanjaro guide, were kindness itself. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything ran like clockwork, even when we altered our plans! The holiday was well organized, from planning our journey up Mt. Kilimanjaro, through to which safari parks to visit and which hotels to stay at – all within our price range, I may add. The whole holiday was a total delight, with, of course, the friendliness of the Tanzanian people and the beauty of the country all adding to the experience. I can’t recommend this operator highly enough and will certainly return to them when we plan our next holiday (funds permitting). "We decided to organize our journey to Africa via this operator. We did the order via the internet, and because this was our first time traveling to Africa, we were a little curious. We started with some questions to the company, and during the planning, we exchanged a lot of emails. The company was serious, knowledgeable, and offered a good price. They gave us relevant information about everything we asked. We experienced that the company had very good guides who were professional and well-informed. The Kilimanjaro trip and the safari were both well-organized. Everything was planned to our best. We were especially impressed by the food during the Kilimanjaro trip, considering the conditions. None of us became ill. We have no problem recommending this tour operator to others.

"Our safari was, no doubt, a fantastic experience. Having the opportunity to watch wildlife up close was something I personally longed for, and I wasn’t disappointed. Our guide, Anicete, proved to be very knowledgeable and a nice guy who taught us a lot about nature. The camping safari gave us the chance to see some action at night too, like a couple of hyenas and jackals fighting for a carcass just five meters away from our tent. The cook, Reuben, was also great – he even cooked a Spanish tortilla for us after we gave him the recipe! My only advice to future travelers is to make sure they know exactly what they are buying from the operator. There were a few misunderstandings on our trip, but fortunately, they were friendly enough to solve it all very easily."
