We spent a week traveling with this tour company—three and a half days on safari in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania and three days exploring Zanzibar. They arranged the entire safari and accommodation in Zanzibar on our behalf, custom-made to our itinerary, at a cut-rate price. We couldn’t find a better package deal anywhere, and the services they offered were superb. The safari guide was knowledgeable and skilled, and we had our own private jeep. The accommodation exceeded expectations, and the pre-arranged transfers at the airports proved to be reliable. A brilliant service for a brilliant price. Highly recommended!

"The operator was thoroughly professional and helpful in every way with our pre-trip planning and the tour experience itself. Mwanaid was very easy to work with and showed a great facility with kids once we were in Tanzania. Huruma and Anton, our drivers and safari guides, were also great with the kids, and we felt very safe in the vehicles with them. Our guides during the mountain climb were patient, jovial, and clearly interested in our welfare. We had a small hitch with one part of our plan, but given that we were a group of 11 (including school-age kids) and that we had to change our schedule a month before the trip, it was impressive that everything else was flawless. Indeed, each time we needed to clarify something, the staff were quick to address the issue, even coming to the hotel to sort things out. We are grateful to the entire staff for their assistance and expertise in coordinating our trip, and we can recommend them to anyone else who would like to arrange a holiday to Tanzania."

"Our safari was all that we could have hoped for and more, and the operator fulfilled everything they promised for our tour according to the trip plan we devised with them through email communications ahead. We felt very well taken care of the entire 10 days we were out on safari, and their careful planning was evident in how smoothly and effortlessly the safari unfolded. As for our guide, we feel incredibly fortunate to have had Huruma as our guide. He made sure that each day’s game drive was planned to give us the most time to see the animals and landscapes at their best. He also took time to discuss what options we had so that some spontaneity could be included if that was our preference. Not only is he extremely experienced and knowledgeable about the wildlife and the park habitats, but he has keen eyes for spotting animals and a keen sense of the subtle behavioral cues that indicate impending activity on the plains. Should we be fortunate enough to visit Tanzania again, we would happily use them again, and we highly recommend this company to others."

"It's nice to know someone is following up on how tourists are treated. First of all, we had a great time, and the tour provided was very good. Everything went off without any real problems. The guide was very good, and the porters were incredible. Overall, I would say I am very satisfied with the service provided. The one thing I would say I was unhappy with was that when it came to the last day of our trek and time to tip the porters, the number suddenly went from the 8 we had every night in our camp to 12! This left us with a bad aftertaste as we felt we were being tricked. I think to overcome this, the company organizing should tell you exactly how many porters/guides are accompanying the client and how much is expected at the end. I would recommend this operator to friends overall, though, and we found the girl we dealt mainly with, Neema, to be very helpful and friendly to deal with."Operator Response: "We are sorry for the confusion regarding the number of porters. The Machame route is usually climbed by 8 porters for two people, but the number can vary depending on the weight of the bags. In your case, there were 12 people climbing, including guides and cooks. We apologize for the mistake and will ensure this is clarified in the future."

"Our safari was great. The operator was very helpful during the planning process and accommodated our requests, such as changing the beginning city of the tour and adding side trips. Most importantly, the company provided us with a wonderful guide, Huruma, whose English was great, and whose knowledge of the area and animals was vast. He made the whole trip a fantastic experience. My cousin, who lives in Tanzania, was very impressed with Huruma. If I were going again, I would ask specifically for him. Many thanks to this safari operator. I would do it again with them in a heartbeat."

"Here is our feedback for our tour. We can say that everything was really perfectly organized. Through our whole tour, we were really happy and more than satisfied with the organization of our trip. It starts with perfect and really quick and helpful email contact from the beginning of our tour plans. Everything was going on right with our money and was organized as we agreed. On tour, our guide was really well-informed about nature and a perfect cook. We can really laud them and recommend everyone to do a tour with this operator. "We had a well-organized journey to Mt. Kilimanjaro with this company. Before the trip, they gave us all the information we needed to prepare for a successful climb. They also arranged a shuttle from Nairobi Airport to Arusha, where the journey began (though the shuttle was full of people in very hot circumstances). The next morning, we started the climb. We took six days to reach Uhuru Peak and descend back to the gate. The guide was okay – not very talkative but polite and knowledgeable. The food was good, considering the conditions. After the climb, we did a four-day safari through Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, and Arusha National Parks. We saw the Big Nine, except the leopard. The guide had good knowledge of the animals, and the chef cooked excellent meals. The lodge near Arusha was comfortable, and the staff were kind. The only disappointment was the high fee for arranging flights to Zanzibar. Overall, a very nice journey, and I recommend this company."

I booked a trip to the Usambara mountains and had the best experience!They supported me in organising everything around that trip and once I arrived in Lushoto I experienced the local culture. Would highly recommend!

"The amount we saw and experienced in the six days of this camping tour was really amazing. We went to National Parks with differing vegetation and animals, and the climate varied from tropical to sub-arctic. Campsites were mostly fine, with one exception in the Serengeti – the very popular Pimbi camp, which had over 70 people, two long-drop toilets, and no water supply. We moved to Tumbili camp, which was a vast improvement. The tour staff taught us two rousing Tanzanian songs. Thank you!"
