Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport to Arusha
You will be welcomed on arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) and transferred to Arusha.

Overnight: The Arusha Coffee Lodge – B&B

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
You will be picked up from your lodge in Arusha for a transfer to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is a 2-hour drive away from Arusha. (Optional night game drive operated by Lodge is available at extra cost, subject to weather conditions).

Dinner and Overnight: Tarangire Treetops – FB

Day 3: Tarangire National Park
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park, an expansive park with majestic baobab trees and large herds of elephants.

Day 4: Maasai village visit. Transfer to Karatu
After breakfast, your expert guide will drive to Esilalei Village located near Lake Manyara for a Maasai Boma visit to interact with this indigenous tribe of Tanzania. In the afternoon, transfer to your lodge located 5 minutes away from Ngorongoro main gate for relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
You will go for an early morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera of the once-volcanic Ngorongoro shelters one of the most beautiful havens on earth, ringed with towering walls and sheltering forests, grasslands, fresh springs and a large soda lake. Return to your lodge for relaxation after your game drive.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge for transfer to Manyara Airstrip located on top of the Great Rift Valley escarpment to check in for your flight to Kogatende Airstrip.

On arrival at Kogatende Airstrip, you will be picked up by a camp guide from Aurari Camp for an en-route game drive in open vehicle as you drive to reach the camp for lunch. After lunch, you will go for an afternoon game drive.

Day 7 & 8: Northern Serengeti
Enjoy a couple of days doing game drives in Northern Serengeti where the herds are expected to be seen during this time of year. The movement of almost two million wild animals is the driving force of the ecology of most of the Serengeti eco-system. Great wildlife viewing is guaranteed because the young animals make easy prey. You have the option to go for an early morning hot air balloon ride over the Mara River, for a most unforgettable experience. (Optional activity: US$600 per person, advance booking required)

Day 9: Northern Serengeti to Arusha to Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast, bid farewell to the staff at Aurari Camp as you enjoy game viewing en-route to Kogatende Airstrip for your morning departure flight. You will fly back to Arusha for hot lunch (at your own expense), before transferring to Kilimanjaro Airport by road, a 90-minute drive. If you would like to extend your trip to Zanzibar, we can also assist.
